I recently got an update from DWP about their current policy on reassessments. It seems they are focusing on LCW initially and Short-Prognosis LCWRA/Support group before scaling up. There are no fixed timescales, but doesn't sound like they're anywhere near getting on top of the backlog.

Thank you. Can't make heads nor tails of the documents though 🤣. But I guess lcwra is last on the list to start reviews. It be lcw and esa support groups first. ESA Support Group is the equivalent of LCWRA and both haven’t started back yet. It’s only LCW/ WRAG as I advised.0 -

I do know of two people (locally) getting ESA SG who have had WCA's recently. One had gone a very long time without one, the other I am not sure about.0

Still suspended for the majority of people. Only those with LCW are being reviewed at the moment.0

I would like to know this as this keep me ainexty tbh not knowing as in sure it's been 4 years since been onit and iv had absolutely nothing wen I contact uc they have no clue try telling me I need re add sick note lol

There’s no further news since I last advised you. The new Government haven’t announced anything about what may or may not happen in the future.

No they haven’t started yet. Only those with LCW and WRAG are being reviewed.

@poppy123456 Sorry to bug you for a second time, today, but do you happen to know if they have started reassessments, yet? I read on reddit that they have but was unsure if they meant that it's still only happening in Northern Ireland.

I've heard of only 1 person very recently but they hadn't been contacted for 10 years so they were definitely overdue a review. Whether they've started back for everyone I don't know.

How possible is it that I'm never called for reassessment? It's been years and years at this point. You think there is a chance they won't ever get around to me with backlog until they, perhaps, scrape them all together sometime next year? I'm aware that the labour might not actually scrape them next year?
