Hi- I am 48 years of age and live with my parents in North Yorkshire having movedup from Essex 18 months ago. I receive PIPS and until recently received universal credit but they stopped that as my dad had been paying for a bond in my name and I had more than 16K in the account. I worked as a cleaner for 22 hours a week when I lived in Essex but despite actively looking cannot find work up here. I have minimal learning difficulties from birth. I want to work and would like to move out from my parents house. Is there any help and advice you can give me.

Heya @lizhayday and welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear you're not having any luck finding work, it's a minefield out there! Have you looked into Scopes Support to Work program? It's specially designed to help disabled people get into employment, so I highly recommend having a read.0
