I'm new to this group, just came across it while surfing the Internet. I have mobility problems and it's getting a bit difficult going up and down stairs. Does anyone know if there are any grants available to extend a downstairs room and have a wetroom and toilet put in? Thanks, shuggee.

Have a look into the Disabled Faciilities Grant. (DFG) Information here. https://www.gov.uk/disabled-facilities-grantsYou will need to have a needs assessment from your local Authority first. You can self refer here. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/social-care-and-support-guide/help-from-social-services-and-charities/getting-a-needs-assessment/
