Lcwra

The date of your assessment and the date the decision was made is irrelevant. The waiting period starts from when you provided your first fit note, which you said was 30/05/2023, therefore your waiting period is as has been advised above. First payment for LCWRA is 7th October 2023.

I have sent over the message on my journal . I am just confused0

UC is very confusing and the LCWRA waiting period confuses a lot of people. Even those at UC often get this wrong. Please see link and scroll to "when the LCWRA element is awarded"In that link "medical evidence" refers to a fit note.

There has been a break in your fit notes. From 25 November 2023 ro 11 December 2023. Due to your assessment date, you have been awarded LCWRA from 30/11/2023. If you disagree with this date, we can raise a mandatory reconsideration to have this reviewed? Would you like to proceed with a mandatory reconsideration?

I'm sorry i didn't respond straight away. I haven't been active much on the forum today because i'm in the process of moving house and have been so busy. Please also remember that members here, including myself, advise people freely in their own time. This means that sometimes it's not always possible to have a response as soon as you post a question and you may need to wait a little while. I also have health conditions myself, despite advising here.sinead123 said:

I don't understand why they are saying your gap was from 25th Nov to 11th Dec because you said the decision was made the on 30th November so you wouldn't need a fit note up to as far as 11th Dec. Are you 100% sure the decision was made on the 30th November? What date did you have your assessment as it seems like they have started the waiting period from then.I did ask if there were any gaps in your fit notes and you said there wasn't. You can request the MR on the decision not to start the waiting period from when you provided your first fit note and ask if you can provide a fit note for the gap. It will be down to a decision maker to make the final decision. You can request this on your journal.0 -
I got awarded lcwra on the 30/11/23 what happens now ? Will I ever receive a payment for lcwra0
-
I apologise, can I also ask when you have time answer . Now do I have to send over fit notes again? When will I receive any payment or will I not now .0
-
You can ask questions anytime but you just need to wait for someone to reply to you.It will be the gap in your fit note that's causing the issue but if a decision was made on 30th Nov i don't understand why you've been told there's a gap between 25th Nov and 11th Dec. Once a decision is made you no longer need to continue with the fit notes. You will need to request the MR as i advised previously and wait to see if they accept the gap.0
-
Okay thank you can I just ask if the don’t change their decision and they are still saying about the gaps . What happens next do you still receive Lcwra payments ?0
-
If they go from 30th Nov then your waiting period will be Dec to Feb and first payment will be 7th March.

No, because the decision has already been made. The decision letter will have advised you that no further fit notes are needed.
