Not sure if this is the most relevant place to put this but….I have recently bought a new MacBook and I’m in the process of setting it up.

The question I have is I’ve got an issue with my Sophos antivirus. It doesn’t seem to be liked by the new iOS, Somar. Are there any users here who could help me out please?

MacBooks don't need antivirus software as MacOS has it's own security built in.

Mackbooks don't use iOS, only iPhone & iPad use iOS.

@csno01 I've not even heard of Sophos, but I'm a Windows kinda guy, I'm not down with Apple products.  Is the new iOS a recent update? The antivirus might need an update too?

Evening all, sorry have not been on recently been stuck with another flue- bug this one lasted over a week and with the constant sneezing, coughing, no sleep for a week, just getting out of bed and having breakfast has been a massive effort, this bug has hit me for 6, I could not see properly as lack of sleep my vision was awful,had radio on as couldn't make out the TV so using a computer impossible.glad to say finally sleeping still coughing but on the way to recovery till next week when I will probably get another bug 🙃🤢.

I actually enjoyed being in the library printed some stuff off.  Had a chat  to the staff  bumped   into an old work colleague on the bus. Having a much needed coffee didn't get time to pop in Costa because bus was due

Thank you all for your kind words, just a question. Stopped by a nail bar to have my sandwiches, would like to know why you ladies always look so concentrated and that face of any slight nick on my nails or I'm going to hit you. I viewed at least 5 girls getting there nails done and let's just say there not sitting on the seat and they don't seemed to be enjoying the experience ?

It is yes. 

The last iOS on my previous Mac was Big Sur. i’m still getting acquainted with the system although I will run an update and see what happens. Thank you for the suggestion. I hope you’re good.
