@Sandy_123 good to be back! He got an angiogram which confirmed the fistula repair in his brain has held.
The proposal came after this. We are looking forward to the wedding although sometimes I wish we had gone away and come back married.
Hi @Grumpy1314 and hope your tooth isn't hurting too much. Things seem to happen all at once don't they?

That's good, the wedding will be beautiful @Marydoll5

I have problems with a wisdom tooth @Grumpy1314 ,it's growing sideways and pressing on another tooth.
I hope everything goes okay at the dentist, mine told me I'd have to go into hospital because I'd need to be under general anaesthetic to have the wisdom tooth removed.
She changed her mind this month though and she's now said that she can remove the tooth it's pressing on if I'm okay with that.

That's an odd thing for your partner's son to say @Marydoll5 ,although I'm sure there'd be similar comments if Mr Teigr and my scruffy little self decided to take the plunge.
'Oooh, they've been together for two hundred years, why are they bothering'?
Try not to stress too much,I'm sure it'll all be worth it in the end.🙂

Good morning everyone!
It's rain and wind time here again too. @Teigr it turned out when father and son spoke yesterday he didn't expect his dad to marry again and that surprised him.
Also he asked his dad about the house. He was told it was still his inheritance and that I had no interest in it other than if his dad died first it was my home till I died…..money causes more problems than it solves!

MMorning Everyone i hope you are all in good health.
Sorry to hear about some of you having tooth problems. I had two of my wisdom teeth removed in my teems. I caught the bus back to work, I couldn't speak to the driver, I was sore and dribbling all the way to work, I was soon well enough to talk again. They seem less likely to remove wisdom teeth now days, unless they haven't the room to grow. Hope the dentist goes well @Grumpy1314
@Marydoll5 I'm sorry to hear about your fiancé's son comments. It maybe that he knows his father's care will be upto you once you marry. Being that you have spent several years looking after and getting him back to health, his son must have trusted you with his father's care, he may just feel it's more formal after your wedding.
I don't think he said these comments to hurt you or your fiancee, probably more about him.
Enjoy your wedding you are obviously meant to be together. Any concerns of his son, will more than likely pass soon after the wedding. He has trusted that you have both been happy all the years you have spent together. I think alot of people have nervous feelings before a wedding, but come the big day, im sure everyone will be happy for you both. Have a lovely day, blessings to you both.

Too right @Marydoll5 ,I'm glad my parents had nothing.

I don't want to hear anything about hosepipe bans until 2028.

@Teigr thanks for making me laugh I needed that!
@Elvisdog thank you too.
It's sad that at 37 his son never bothers with him and is so money oriented. He got a huge deposit for his house getting married from his dad and even the money for his wife's engagement ring.
I was appalled when he wanted to put his dad in a nursing home when he was ill in hospital. I really don't care about money and possessions. I just think that time is the most precious thing you can give anyone.
I want the anxiety and uneasiness to go as it has wrecked my mood. I don't want to spiral into another deep depression. The weather isn't helping 😕

The more you give some people the more they want @Marydoll5 ,Mr Teigr's brother is all about money.
Not to worry though. As I always say to Mr Teigr,he'll be the richest man in the graveyard one day.

@Marydoll5 it says more about him than about you and his father. Don't let him take your happiness away. I find in life that these sort of people have karma come there way, eventually catching up on them. At least you know how he thinks, you can put things into place once you are married. Funerals bring out the best and worst of people, he can't wait for that. I hope you both have a beautiful wedding and long life together. Nobody knows what's around the corner, not even the son. He may find himself in the same situation one day if he has children'.
