Ok back home. I just got an email from UC about a phonecall I will have on Wednesday. I have not transitioned yet. This anxiety will kill me. Do anybody know what that first call is about. I am so so scared. I am not sure If I have to be in front of a computer or what they will be asking. Or will be only to confirm it is me. I do not know ..... I am going to relax.. I am shattered. Maybe I am lucky and I will win the lottery. If I miss the phone call will be a failed appointment .... Anyway I will not think about it Wednesday is the phone call

Torrential rain, real biblical stuff! I hope that clears the air for my dog walk/scoot later on.

Morning all, bright and sunny here today. A cooler breeze. I'll be honest I'm not looking forward to the next heatwave that's on the way. I'm not a sun worshiper lol

I am so sorry @Amberpearl do none of your cats go in the kitchen? Do you know where they are getting in?

Yes kitchen door is open in the day
I only shut it at night
No no. Idea where they are getting in but found them under the sink where I keep cleaning products
So I thought I'd go to the hardware shop for steel wool and expanding foam and try using it bavm if cabinet s

@Amberpearl I have had a similar experience with mice now and then, and actually had one in my kitchen the weekend, they can get into the smallest of holes, I had to use the wire wool on the outside of the house, where my washing pipe is and it has helped I had my back door open letting my dog in, and I have extractor fans in the wall and bathroom. My cat is an indoor cat and she catches and kills them, it's not the most nicest of methods but im terrified of mice and rats, i also tried the peppermint oil, I had the plug which I think did help, I only seem to get one or two a time, so not much droppings. I think the plug and blocking holes with wire wool works the best, there are also sticky mats and traps with a bit of peanut butter which they love but it's not very humane or pleasant. Good luck.

Very unpleasant for you, Amberpearl. Get a terrier, any terrier, I kid you not. (Do you know anyone with a terrier you could have whilst they are on holiday etc?)
Gus would go through them like a dose of salts.
