I don't take my medication and am just really honest about why in my forms, it's never been held against me - in fact if I remember correctly they awarded me points for needing help with medication/treatment even though I was quite clear I can't and won't take it. You need to do what's right for you and speak with your doctors about it ❤️

    Hi all

I'm not sure where to post this but I have forgot how to post a new topic and I can't find anything in the forum guidelines.

Can someone tell me how to do it please.

Apart from that its a sunny cold day here in Cornwall and I am going out food shopping later.

Looking forward to the soap tonight on tv

Sorry @luvpink only just seen this. If you go the category page you'd like to post in there should be a dark purple box towards the top right that says 'New Post'. Click on that, choose 'New Discussion' and then it'll take you to the page to write your post. Let me know if you have any issues.

Afternoon.. yet again the agency saying the come to do something but they are not coming.. so tomorrow I will probably have to also wait as they say they might come tomorrow. In theory my building was supposed to be done today. And tomorrow the rest. So my maybe they have swapped the days. It is all very distressing for me as I have to be at home. They forced me to stay at home and miss my volunteering session today. I have to be here as I can not trust people in my place on their own.

It happens every now and then but I truly hate it as I feel they are doing it way too often.

Hope you are all ok. Myself, not really my anxiety is over the roof.

Sorry you're feeling so anxious and they've let you down again @Schildpad. Has this happened quite a lot then?

it happens more or less twice a year. @Rachel_Scope sometimes more. electricity , fire stuff and also sometimes council … so i guess three times a year. they finally came .. now the heater stopped working. i never used it or i used it many years ago, so he said that is probably why.. they use a pat machine so they do not have switch on anything. now he said it is probably dusted inside so he put a do not use sticker. Now being me.. anxious me now i am starting thinking if they will pin it on me and blame me for breaking it. also one of the hobs is not working i told him the other three work just fine. they are very old.. they only change stuff is it really broken. as it is cheaper to buy an new one than fix it. but anyway.. i really need to leave this place.

rent goes up and it is not really worth it. this is very distressing but i can not help myself. i am always anxious. but i have no choice but staying for the time being.

I'm sorry for how distressing it is for you @Schildpad. What kind of housing are you in? I'm wondering if there's some help we can find for you.

@Rachel_Scope I am in private rental. But in council list. And it probably will take years until I am even allow to see a place..

There's some information here @Schildpad which might be useful. Are the council aware of your disability? You can be classed as priority but it says it's still a very long wait. Would moving to another private rental be an option?

thanks.i am band c2. so i think they know but i am not classified as a priority as i am not homeless. it is complicated. the rents out there are also pretty bad and high, it is better what i know in case i get myself into something worse.

I know what you mean @Schildpad, sometimes I feel like it's "the better the devil you know" even if the situation isn't always ideal. I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so anxious, it's stressful knowing you have an appointment sometimes but then even more stressful when the appointment doesn't happen!!
