Your question is not silly @Strawberry1 Do you run your fingers through your hair when you are doing anything in particular or is it when you are perhaps sitting watching the tv?
Does your doing this affect your hair at all? like some of it falling out.
Has it perhaps become a habit you have or is it when you are more stressed?
Sorry too many questions just trying to understand.
Please take care of yourself.

Hi @Bluebell21 , it's usually when I'm sat down. I don't pull hair out no . No need to apologise it absolutely fine . I think I do it when stressed and when sitting down and watching TV. Sorry I do feel a bit ashamed. Thank you though.

I have been to the vets this morning with the dog. Just a check up from some medication he is on. He is nearly 15 years old now. @Holly_Scope Do you have anything planned for later?

Starting to get the dreaded cold bug that's going around the uk, my daughter caught it from work. I had my flu jab so hopefully it won't turn into that. Especially with copd don't want another chest infection.

Hope you feel better soon @Andi66 . Someone at my house had the horrible virus that's going around. They didn't have the flu injection. I had my flu injection. Please take care. Lucozade is good when your run down. That's if you can have it . Please take care and get well soon.

@Andi66 , do you think me regularly running my fingers through my hair could be stimming?

Good morning Strawberry,
I've read that stroking our hair is something we do to comfort ourselves and that makes sense if you're feeling anxious doesn't it? I did it for years around other people and on my own..
I also used to chew or suck my hair, bite my nails (both driving my dad mad) and play with my eyelashes π€¨
All completely understandable for ASD so do not feel ashamed of the habits you developed! It's important to identify these differences as you are doing brilliantly π
