    Thanks,snow here this morning. Not a great amount. Had to have my heating on all day yesterday, because it was so cold. And my daughter getting over a heavy cold.

    We have had snow too @Andi66 . It's been so very cold . I hope your daughter gets better soon. Fingers crossed the snow doesn't stay around for long.

    same here on of my latches on window need fitting freezing in room also my bed broke Xmas so have mattress on floor whole body aching that's my moan over

    When I let the dogs out in early hours and it's freezing I always think for elderly and homeless my heart feels for them so much so so much

    I do too. Knowing I'm indoors, however cold it is, it is hard not to think of those on the street.

    Try not to worry so much for elderly people if you can. Older generations did not have the luxury of central heating and are tougher than we imagine.

    I've read that some local councils are offering ยฃ200 to elderly residents denied their Winter Fuel Allowance this year. Let's hope they all follow suit.

    Catherine the Great, I'm glad you stayed with the forum!

    I look a right sight in my layers indoors but don't care as no-one else has to look at me ๐Ÿ˜„

    Keep your feet, ankles and head covered as we lose a lot of heat through our heads and on hard flooring if you have that.
