    I do too. Knowing I'm indoors, however cold it is, it is hard not to think of those on the street.

    Try not to worry so much for elderly people if you can. Older generations did not have the luxury of central heating and are tougher than we imagine.

    I've read that some local councils are offering £200 to elderly residents denied their Winter Fuel Allowance this year. Let's hope they all follow suit.

    Catherine the Great, I'm glad you stayed with the forum!

    I look a right sight in my layers indoors but don't care as no-one else has to look at me 😄

    Keep your feet, ankles and head covered as we lose a lot of heat through our heads and on hard flooring if you have that.
