Apologies everyone, but my Anxiety Is through the roof 🤦🏻♀️ I would appreciate it If someone could help please. My recent PIP Review was 2 weeks ago, and I have my Report. But no decision as yet. Im currently on Standard rate for Daily Living and Mobility. On my Report, she has scored 0 points, and has ticked the box, for No Functional restrictions. And ticked the box, for No requirement to arrange a review, as significant changes are unlikely. She also ticked the box for the claiment having a Mental health condition, and would need help, with future claims. She says that, I engaged well, no lack of motivation, etc I was In tears throughout the assessment, and she stopped twice for a break. And said, your doing really well, I know its not easy for you. On the write up 9f the assessment. She has gone Into detail, of how my health conditions have not changed And how they affect me Daily. I dont understand how she can say that I was fine, during the assessment. But then states, how much Im Impacted, by my health conditions every day.
Apologies for reposting, but Im so anxious, and dot understand why she has written this ? Any help would be much appreciated 🙏 TIA

I am very sorry to see you suffering like this, but if it is of any help to you i want you to know that you are not alone.I,along with many others, have also been subjected to "Assessors" blatantly lying about how we all deal with the assessment. To answer your question bluntly-they do it (pass us fit for work) because they are given financial incentives by the Govt to find people fit for work, even though they are often patently ill.It is a corrupt system that may indeed get worse,if today's headline news in the broadsheets is anything to go by....Now here's the good news.Apx 70% of PIP decisions made against us by the likes of ATOS (have now changed their name to disguise their rancid reputation),Capita etc are subsequently turned over at the appeal stage.I believe that the people who chair the various appeal panels,at the many appeal centres nationwide, understand fully what is going on,realise how unfair the system is,and more often that not are sympathetic to us,the claimant.I wish you good luck for the future.Don't stop fighting.
PS,I hope that my comment is allowed to stand. In what is rapidly becoming an increasingly hostile Environment for us disabled people,i think it's only fair that we are all heard.0 -
I appreciate that you sent this with good Intention. But Its not really answering my questions ?0

Hi em.Sorry to be pedantic but i have read your message four times now and can only see a solitary question, and that pertains to something like "how can they do this ? (give a dishonest account of how the Assessment went)"...I answered said question in the best way i could.Sorry if i have not helped in any way.0
