We seem to be going round in circles here.
Can i ask i think this is where im going wrong ... so once my sick notes are in continous from 4th of jan they give me the work allowance if im assessed with lcwra from then not just from the 4 month is that correct

Yup, that's pretty much what it is.
Please coukd i ask so my first sick note was 4th jan ... what are my waiting ap please
I've already answered the question here.
You have misunderstood what you’ve read. The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods. It’s then paid from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note and first payment is the end of that 4th month. The LCWRA element isn’t paid at all during this period.

Your waiting period will be Jan/Feb, Feb/March, March/April… LCWRA starts from assessment period 10th April to 9th May and first payment will be 16th May. No LCWRA element is owed.

This is assuming there were no gaps in your fit notes.
Does dec/ jan count my ap is 10th to 9th
No because you provided your first fit note in the middle of that AP so that doesn't count for the LCWRA element. As I advised, it has to be 3 full AP. See comment above for the waiting period.

The decision letters are just standard letters and never give any information on when the extra money starts from.

As I advised earlier in the thread you waiting period is as follows.

Jan/Feb, Feb/March, March/April… LCWRA starts from assessment period 10th April to 9th May and first payment will be 16th May. As your statement for this month has already been produced then they now owe you for this month.

Money owed will be paid separately from your usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it. Once your statements have been recalculated you will receive a letter on your journal telling you how much is owed and it will be paid into your bank.

The new statements will replace the existing ones so if you want to take copies of those you should do that.

When you receive your statement next month you should check the LCWRA element is included.

It's not the date on your first fit note that counts, it's the date you actually provided it, which i did ask at the start of the thread.

This does change when the extra money is paid from. Your waiting period will be March/April, April/May, May/June... LCWRA starts from assessment period 10th June to 9th July and first payment will be 16th July. No LCWRA element is owed.

It also changes when the work allowance is paid from. Rather than it being from 10th Dec to 8th Jan like I advised. It will be from AP 10th Feb to 9th March. If you received earnings from that AP then you will be owed some money for that. If you didn't then you won't be owed any money.

No problem. At the time for you because you're claiming help with the rent the work allowance was £379/month. With earnings of £473 your deduction at the time was £260.15.

With the work allowance the deduction would be £51.70. Which means they will owe you about £208 but the exact amount will depend on the exact figures.

No, that's not correct. Your waiting period is as I advised here.

This is because you provided your first fit note in the middle of assessment period Jan/Feb so that month doesn't count because it has to be 3 FULL assessment periods.

Please also note that when ringing the helpline you are speaking to someone from a call centre and very often they give incorrect advice.

Ive put a message on my jounal asking to recalculate my statements now im awarded ... how long does it take for them to do this any ideas ... ive still not got award dates or any letter through post ...

UC is a digital claim and you will not receive any letters in the post. Letters are uploaded onto your journal and you already receive the decision letter you said.

You won’t receive any other letters with award dates because LCWRA is an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise. It has no end date.

I did advise earlier in the thread that it’s not unusual for it to take quite a few weeks to pay what is owed, which will be a small amount for the work allowance.

Yes it is possible to get a change of circumstances advance if you can't manage financially until your next payment. However, I see that your payment date was only 5 days ago so this maybe why you were refused.

Based on the information you gave they also owe you some money from the work allowance, have you received a letter about that yet?

That's great it's been sorted so quickly. The money they owed you and only receiving your payment 5 days ago is highly likely why you were refused the advance payment.
