When will I get back dated my 6 month wait?

I applied and they received my application on the 10/12/23.  My assessment is on 20/5/24
Payments being £390 a month, do u know when and will i get back dated my 6mnth wait.
Some have said yes but the whole matter is confusing me. Kind regards Lisa

    You haven’t said which benefit this is related to but I’m assuming it’s UC and the work capability assessment?

    If so and you’re found to have LCWRA there’s a full 3 month assessment period waiting time for the extra money. It’s then paid from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note. First payment is then at the end of that 4th month. LCWRA element is not paid at all during the waiting period. 

    When it’s paid from exactly (if awarded) will depend on what date exactly you provided your first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.
