Remaining politically neutral during General Election 2024

Under guidance from the Electoral Commission and Charity Commission, it's important that Scope remains politically neutral during General Elections.

Good evening, I thought I'd introduce myself after already commenting on posts.
I'm Laura a parent of a 17 year old. I live in west Wales after relocating in January 2023. I have essential tremors and started to have seizures last July (turns out I've been having absence seizures for years). After becoming homeless last April I moved into a place of my own in March.

Nice to read a bit about you after “meeting” you already on the chat thread

I can’t imagine how it must feel having a home after being homeless, something most of us are perhaps blissfully ignorant of how fortunate we are…

hopefully see you around some more

I love having my own space and I'm slowly starting to rebuild my relationship with my son. I went into temporary accommodation on my own and when I went on sick at work I didn't see him (he wasn't allowed to stay over or visit).
Trying to start from the ground up is hard and accepting my new limitations is even harder.
