hello everyone

i'm also worried about my pip changing my care component goes to my carer and my mobility

component pays for my taxi's to all appointments i have and once every 4 weeks i get a cabs to my family and friends otherwise i would be completely housebound. vouchers would be pointless for me. I'm not working because i'm lazy and don't want a job, i worked for 20 years before an accident took away my freedom, not being able to work caused my depression, anxiety and mental health issues which i battle with everyday along with the constant pain i'm in and the multitude of tablets i take daily. so thanks for reading this guys 😊

Hi @julie911, welcome to the community. Is it the government's proposed changes to PIP you're worried about? If it is, they are only proposals and nothing will change quickly. We don't know what will happen after the election but we'll be keeping everyone up to date as soon as we find out more and we're here to chat things through if you're feeling worried. I totally understand why you might be stressed out by the news, it's not easy stuff to read about.

Lots of our members have been feeling the same way about the proposals so you're not alone in feeling worried about the situation, it's a difficult time. I hope the community can be a place of support for you. Please feel free to join in with any discussions you find interesting or ask any questions if you have any, we're a friendly bunch 😊
