Took me longer than expected to get everything together in the letter.

I requested my assessment report and request them to consider extending length of PIP award only. I made it clear I agreed with the decision but was worried about the award length. I did refer to this as Mandatory Reconsideration which I was a little unsure about, but hope that is right, and won't cause any issues with my award. I did stress that this was to reconsider award length only.

It was a little difficult to explain the reasons why and I am not sure they will understand, but I also threw in my short notes as well that I use to try and keep me on track.

I do feel a little better that it's posted off now and I can hopefully stop thinking about it.

Hi @W348. I bet it's a relief now it's been sent off. Will you let us know the outcome? I hope they extend the award for you.

Hi, thank you, yes I did feel relief to just get it off my chest onto paper and posted out.

Getting a little nervous now as not had any letters received yet regarding this. It was posted two weeks ago.

I've also yet to hear back about IS10 SDP claim too - that form was posted almost 4 weeks ago.

Regarding the letter I posted 3 weeks ago to request PIP MR length award extension and also to request I get a copy of my assessment report. I have yet to hear anything back.

    Is 3 weeks+ a normal time-frame, or should I be concerned?

I did post it recorded delivery and can see it was successfully delivered.

Sometimes they may send a text to say they received it but not always. MR decisions are currently taking up to 15 weeks.
