You don't have to apologise Catherine, it's a feature of your disability as it is mine. Luckily I have a weekly therapy session where I can rant about things which helps. It's not helpful to get irritated when people are panicking, especially when it's something that's so terrifying, it can make the person feel they aren't being listened to, being criticised and puts them on the defensive. I would hope, as you say, that in a forum for people with disabilities that included mental health problems that we can all understand that and be sympathetic when we over-worriers get fixated on something.
I have written to my MP and am trying not to think about it all, but that is really hard and I've laid awake panicking for many nights since these fresh attacks started. I hope that we will given some answers soon and can plan accordingly.

I'd like to see an immediate reshuffle in Work and Pensions!
Kendall and Timms are toxic for the disabled community. Debbie Abrahams held onto her seat in the GE and will resume her earnest questions on the subject in Parliament.

It's such an uncertain time at the minute and it's understandable to be anxious about things. We all try and support each other and understand when someone is struggling. I hope you all manage to relax a bit today and are able to put these things out of your mind for a while ๐

Anxiety is horrendous trying to break it down some days I'm fine other days a wreak I do breathing exercises go for walks distraction and some days it gets hold of me I don't ask for help of anyone and always deal with things alone so I'm very protective or sensitive when I put something out there so used to been told pull yourself together by family that my only defence is to snap its been for months since November budget I really hope we all get the reassuring we need and can move forward knowing we have some sort of relief and can plan for the future feel like everything on hold don't even want to buy anything for garden as I always feel I will lose everything hopefully tomorrow they say more pls excuse spelling and thankyou

We understand @Catherine21. I really hope that we get answers soon so, as you said, we can plan for the future. It's great that you do breathing exercises and go for walks to help. Is there anyone close to you who you'd feel comfortable to ask for help from? We're always here for you but it would be good if you had someone close to you as well ๐

Oh Cornwall is so beautiful, excellent choice. Nice little cottage with some land, lots of pets and someone to deliver the shopping. That's the dream. ๐

Exactly right @Teddybear123 dreams are often that bright light in the fog that we all need whilst slogging our way through daily life.

I'd recommend not watching @Catherine21 you'll just be adding more fuel to that anxiety fire. It'll be ok though. ๐

True true will we know today or its just proposing what they want ?

They're basically saying what they're hoping to do. So again, nothing set in stone. But from what they've been saying over the last few weeks, it sounds like they want to help those that can work back into work, through things like Access to Work. Nothing about forcing disabled people who can't work into work.
