She has lied and lied so don't take any notice of what she said before the election. Now labour are in they have so far shown their true colours.

You know, I've changed since April when the Green Paper was published. Then, for a little while, the prospect of a new government gave hope of a kinder country but it was dashed so swiftly. Now, I never sleep in peace. My heart pounds. I feel scared. I've stopped hoping. I don't smile. I had made new friends. I've dropped them. Zipz

Hey @Zipz, I feel like a lot of the media tries to instill fear in a lot of people. We've heard very little about anything but a lot about what people will think will happen. Can I ask, if it's okay, the reason you dropped your new friends?

They won't do that because PIP is supposed to be a help to disabled people who have EXTRA expenses (at least £975 per month)
It is a law that would need House of Lords approval and luckily - we have H.O.L support.

I suppose because I'm ashamed of being me. Zipz¹

I'm sorry to hear that @Zipz, you shouldn't be ashamed of who you are! You can always reach back out to those friends. I've found people are quite understanding if you explain to them what is going on and inform them how you're doing.

Whenever I wake in the night, which is often due to the pain, I'm sick with fright of what's in store. There's no peace.
