Hi, my name is kiran123! Forgot to tell UC about new landlord. Am I in trouble?

After two months I changed my place and of course my landlord details also changed but I forget to change on UC because of my sister illness and her death I totally forgot to update uc my new address and landlord details
Now I’m really dreading inside they are asking my 4 months bank statement
Will they can questions about my rent payment going now state agent account
As uc is not paying full housing what ever they paying I m transferring monthly to my landlord account and rest I’m paying cash from my family help because uc said they can’t pay me full rent I have to my self rest
can someone explain am I in trouble forgetting to report and change landlord details
Any help any suggestions for me I will be grateful

H there @kiran123 and welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear about your issues here and I'm sorry for your loss. I'm afraid I can't say if you'll be in trouble or not, I'd suggest the best course of action would be to get in touch with UC and explain the situation. Them asking for 4 months worth of bank statements is perfectly normal though, many of us have had to do the same. It's just to make sure you're getting the right benefits, so I'd try not to worry too much there.0 -
As I advised on your other thread, you must report the changes as soon as possible. If you don't then there could be more issues. By not reporting the changes when you moved house means you are claiming help for the rent for a property you're not living in.

I already told them that I moved out and now I have no housing cost but I told it last month
But I’m scared if they asked previously I didn’t updated them and I was paying rent different landlord the details they have was different
