Housing benefit

Hello,
Please could anyone advise me.
If my carer moves in (he is employed and receives PIP) he does not claim caters allowance for me, will my housing benefit reduce or be lost.
Do I also need to inform UC. I am unsure who I need to contact and what I would need to update.
I receive UC and both elements of PIP.
Thank you for any help you can offer.
Abigail.
