News Sources!
Hey everyone.
I notice a large amount of people reading articles from websites such as
Birmingham Live, Wales online etc.
Please be aware these sites are clickbait sites who share speculation, scaremongering and alarmist tripe.
If the site has "live" "record" "online" in the title and follows an areas name, you can automatically avoid and dismiss it to save yourself a lot of distress and anxiety.
They are all networked and likely the same people, they re word the articles slightly and update the date and spin it out repeatedly.
Please give yourself the peace of mind you deserve and boycott these sites.

Should be ashamed of themselves tbh.
But like politicians it's always about money any greed.

There are definitely some dubious websites out there @Nightcity. Some of them are notorious for causing a lot of stress posting articles that are written for clicks.
It's always worth double checking any source of information to make sure what you're reading is correct and not just there for clicks and ad revenue. Anything to do with government policy should be backed up with real information somewhere on the government website and will likely be covered by more of the reputable news websites.
I'd hate to think how many people have been affected by clickbait articles about things that aren't quite true or are taken out of context, it's awful.
