Hi, my name is David5!
Hi, we've had my mother-in-Law's power chair for 2 weeks now - we use it every day. But the pavements are so poor (tree roots in particular) that she's almost frightened by the chair falling over (she's 94, has had Alzheimer's for about 12 years).
Tomorrow we'll try a bus journey - see how it goes with the bus ramp etc.
Onwards and Upwards !!

Hi @David5 Welcome to the Community. I hope you enjoy your time on the forum. The pavements are a nightmare and that is without cars parked on the pavement.
I hope as your mother-in-law gets more used to her chair she will feel a bit more confident using it. Good luck with your bus journey tomorrow. You will have to let us know how you get on.

Hi @David5, welcome from me too 😊
I can understand how it must be worrying for her going over bumpy surfaces. It can be a real obstacle course getting around on wheels sometimes!
Hope your mum gets on okay with her next trip out. Keep us posted with how she gets on!
