LCWRA and provisional licence
I'm on LCWRA and have been thinking about applying for a provisional license, initially for ID (but with the hope that one day I might actually be well enough to learn to drive although it's not something I'm capable of currently. I'd still like to apply for the license.
From what I've read on the DVLA site, they check details with DWP. My worry is that it will trigger a review of my LCWRA even though nothing has changed there. If anything, my situation is worse at the moment. Is it a big risk to get my provisional? I don't want them to get the wrong impression just because I've applied for it. Does anyone here have advice or experience with this please?

The link between DVLA and DWP is primarily used to help DVLA verify applicants online. The DWP will also notify the DVLA if they believe you have a medical condition that makes you unsafe or unable to drive.
Applying for a provisional license should not impact your LCWRA nor trigger a reassessment.
