Hi @Catherine21 I am so sorry that you are so stressed about what changes the Government might make in the budget. Do you do any relaxing exercises or listen to any music that might help you relax more. Unfortunately it still five weeks until the budget and we will get more media reports when they really have no more idea than the rest of us about what will happen. If you can you need to take them with a pinch of salt. Please take care of yourself.

Its awful us hanging in limbo not knowing what our fate may be.
I cannot believe this horrible government have kept the disabled community in suspense with their silence.
They must know how much anguish it is causing us.
It feels like they are enjoying knowing of our suffering.

They are truly rotten to the core.

Amitriptyline is a very old with many side effects. Ask your doctor about a replacement.

I've had so many changes i don't think he will sometimes when I been really stressed I've taken more just to try and cut off I did ask for valium but no gave some tablet that you can use for hay-fever see the thing with me is I want a tablet that will comatose me literally

As is the same with many other medications. I've taken Amitriptyline for years now and it works very well for me mostly. Changing medication isn't as easy as just going to your GP and asking for a change.
You shouldn't take more than what is prescribed for you.

I know it's hard my doctor is very good did refere me To cmht to discuss meds It ended up being 6 sessions on dealing with emotions I was like oh I thought was going to talk medication but I did use to drink alot take meds and night nurse at same time I had two relapses in just over two years and with all this happen I have thought about it but can't deal with the stress as it is let alone that awful anxiety the next day and remorse have to celebrate the wins

Hi @Catherine21,
It’s great that you’re recognizing the progress you’ve made—those wins are definitely worth celebrating! I just want to reiterate that you should never take take more of a medication than what your doctor prescribes, but it's great that you've learned from your experiences and now avoid repeating these things where you can.
I hope things calm down a bit soon and you can get some peace of mind.
