i had surgery to correct it but still lots of pain and really unable to walk unless using a walker. Doctor says i need to give it time but i have been in pain for a year now. I just want to feel better.

Hey Leftiegirl,
I didn’t realize you could get surgery to correct it, I’ve had stenosis since I was 18, I’m 40 now and I’ve always been told that surgery will never be an option for.I’m keen to find out your situation, it sounds serious..

may depend on what is causing the stenosis. I did not have stenosis until i was 61. It is caused by arthritis in the spinal column. I had a spinal fusion in 2021. Then due to my lumbar fusion i had to have another surgery in January 2024. And then in June i had a herniated disc so hopefully last surgery November 8th. Still recovering from that with lots of back pain and trouble walking and taking care of myself. Hope this helps.
