My CP Webinar Series: Update on Dystonia and CP
On Wednesday, October 30 at 8 pm ET, Midnight UK time, our MyCP webinar will provide a broad overview of all the progress toward addressing the issues raised by the community including the development of new educational materials, improvements in dystonia diagnosis and plans to study the effectiveness of common treatments for DCP. Please join Bhooma Aravamuthan, MD, DPhil, a pediatric movement disorders neurologist from Washington University in St. Louis and CP Research Network co-founder Michele Shusterman to learn about these efforts in more detail. Dr. Aravamuthan will describe the role that community members played in setting the research agenda for DCP and the work that she has led within the network to both improve dystonia diagnosis and answers questions about the effectiveness of existing treatments. She and Ms. Shusterman will share their collaborative effort to capture the experience of dystonia in CP from the person with CP’s perspective and the challenge to gather and explain the current state of knowledge about DCP in our new educational materials.
Join us this Wednesday, October 30 at 8 pm ET to learn more about this important progress. The webinar will also be recorded and posted on our YouTube channel for those that can not attend.
