UC LCWRA Payment Date
Hello, I have recently been put into the LCWRA group and will be receiving extra money. I have tried to get an answer from the UC journal but getting nowhere, I asked when I would receive this extra cash and was told I'd receive it this month (november) but didn't. I've then asked again for clarification but it seems no one is responding. So I thought I would give here a go.
Monthly Assessment period: 5th-4th each month
First fitnote submission: 31st July 2024
Awarded LCWRA from: 28th October
Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi,
The July/August assessment period is ignored as that's when the fit note was put in.
Then you have 3 full assessment periods to wait - Aug/Sept, Sept/Oct, Oct/Nov.
Then LCWRA is included on the 4th assessment period - 5th Nov to 4th Dec.
So you should receive the first LCWRA payment next month. 🙂

Hello @Azareath. My calculations are the same as what @OverlyAnxious has posted and I believe you would be entitled to the additional payment from next month.

Hi OverlyAnxious, that is great news, I'm just frustrated that the people that actually work on the otherwise of these UC Journals can't get these things right. I asked through the journal firstly and was told it'd be paid this month that we're on and then I had another confirm the same thing on the UC Helpline, but it wasn't paid, anyway thank you for your help :)
