I do hope your mum gets her award eventually as it most certainly sounds like she should have it.Its very disappointing to hear stories like this when someone genuinely deserves their award and has obviously been treated negativly.I am not holding out much hope with mine.I am just so thankful that I never ever have to go through the whole u.c application again because it was horrific.S

Thanks, it just the stress now my mum got high blood pressure and this stress is not good for her. I will help her do the MR and make the complaint to assessment provider but it should not have been happening, she should have got enough points to get award.
I hope you get an answer soon and get the award you should.

I think the fact that the assessment itself was so short surely goes in her favour as 20 minutes is ( in my opinion) not enough time to get into all the details. It took me 20 minutes just to discuss my medications. So the truth will win out and you will get justice in the end.Its just very unfair that you both have to go through All of this unnecessary stress

No I think most people say assessment should be at least 45 minutes Upto 1-45 minutes so yes less than half a hour is just ridiculous. She tried to explain stuff and he just kept moving onto the next question and did not give her time to go into details, she said it was like he just wanted to get her off the phone so not good enough at all. Yes it definitely stressful and wrong that we have to go through this because he did not do his job correctly. But hopefully the MR gives award but I think she will have to go tribunal appeal to get award.

Assessments aren’t always 45 minutes to 1 hour. Sometimes they are less and sometimes longer. It’s wrong to say that assessments should be a certain length because everyone’s claim will be different.
It really depends on how much information was put in the form. The form is actually the most important part of a claim. The more relevant information you put the better it is for you. It may even mean they have enough information to write the report without having an assessment, which is known as a paper based assessment.

Well that most seem to take longer than 45 mins. I put way more details in my written assessment than my mum but my assessment lasted nearly a hour so in this theory my mum's should have lasted over a hour and half. No this person just did not do there job correctly.
