Help!!! Lcwra confusion

Hello I have resently be awards Lcwra. But I'm not sure how it works. When I called UC the lady was very dismissive and just wait to see when it come. My sicknote is from 1st of September and my payment us the 12th if each month. My basic UC amount is based between the 6th-5th of the month. Does anyone know how to work out when my 1st extra payment will be. Thankyou in advance

Your waiting period will be Sept/Oct, Oct/Nov. Nov/Dec… LCWRA starts from 6th Dec to 5th Jan and first payment will be 12th Jan 2024. No LCWRA element is owed. This is assuming there were no gaps in your fit notes up until a decision was made on your WCA.

Thankyou for your help. Do you know if is usually shows as a separate payment date of will it just be add to my 12th payment? Sorry I'm new to all this

No problem. It will show in your January statement and be paid with your usual UC payment.
