I've been reading from September 2025 wca changes come into effect I'm worried as I been classed as getting lwcra under substantial risk they will reassure me under new criteria when changing to uc and move me to lcw

hi I am on work related capability. Are the changes for just new claimants or exciting claimants also. Thank you

We might be reassessed but the WCA descriptors are NOT changing. So if you already qualify under the substantial risk thing and your condition is the same you’ll still qualify. Liz Kendal was very adamant that the Tory proposed reforms on this were not happening

I think she said PIP assesments will be used to check if you eligible for LCWRA.
What if you dont get PIP?

They’re saying the WCA isn’t being scrapped until 2028

But after this PIP assesments will be used to make LCWRA.
If they are not scrapping LCWRA assessments in 2028 that means they have 3 years to assess all who are currently on lcwra.

To me this looks like some clever long-term tactics employed by the Labour govt. Take out one benefit(WCA) and raise the bar for the other(PIP) so that no one gets a chance to be on either 🙄
