Need of participants to fill out questionnaire to help towards final year study.
Hello,
I am a final-year student at Loughborough University, currently working on my dissertation. This research paper focuses on the relationship between user interface (UI) design and ADHD, with the aim of identifying design strategies that can help children in the early stages of education.
Specifically, I’m exploring how to improve the user interface of digital whiteboards used during lessons to help alleviate symptoms of ADHD, such as inattentiveness and disengagement.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to complete my online survey. The survey will only take around 10-15 minutes of your time. I understand everyone is busy, but your participation would be incredibly valuable to the success of my research and would contribute to developing potential solutions by the end of my study.
As someone with ADHD, I have a personal passion for finding ways to alleviate the daily challenges that come with the condition. This personal experience is what inspired me to pursue this dissertation, and I’m dedicated to exploring how we can make learning environments more inclusive and supportive for those who face similar challenges.
To participate in the Questionnaire, you must be:
- Over the age of 18, I have the capacity to understand and consent to this research fully.
- You must either have experience working with children with ADHD or suspected
- Be a parent or carer of a child with ADHD or suspected
- Worked in an environment that supports neurodivergent children
- Be an individual with ADHD who has been in full-time education.
Important :
The questionnaire’s first pages include information on confidentiality and consent as well as contact information, and your participation would remain entirely confidential under the regulation of Loughborough University.
The questionnaire primarily focuses on primary school children, but if you have experience working with older children, such as those in secondary school, please use your knowledge from that experience to answer the questions. Similarly, if you’re a parent of a child with ADHD or suspected and is no longer in education, please reflect on their experiences while they were in school when answering the questions.
Many thanks,

Hope I saw it earlier but I did just go and fill the survey out just now. I'm not exactly sure if I do have ADHD but what I know for sure is that focus has been a problem for me ever since I was born. It's much more easier disrupted when I have gadgets on me, but take away all that as well, my mind would still drift away somewhere. Though as far as having ADHD goes, I don't know for sure.
