Hi, my name is MichMatt! Can I leave my job without being sanctioned?
At the moment I work and claim UC and was on the sick due to health, but felt I had to return to work after 3 months, as financial it was a struggle, I do not have a partner or dependent children. While I was off I was assessed by DWP, I have been informed by UC that I am now going to be receiving LCWRA. Which will be included in my monthly payment. My question is:- Can I now leave my job and not be sanctioned by UC. My job stresses me and my health isn’t great because of it, I do have other health problems which I informed DWP about on the UC50 form when I had the phone assessment.
Thank you in advance

Yes you can leave your job without sanction, due to the LCWRA you now have no work commitments.

Thank you Kimmy87.
you have put my mind at rest.
Can I also ask:- Would I receive the full amount of UC as well as the LCWRA. I’m just worried that I wouldn’t be able to afford to leave my job, even though I’m no longer happy there due to the stress.0 -
There shouldn't be any deductions to your UC payment when you stop work. You will still be eligible for Standard Element, Housing Element (if applicable) and LCWRA.
You can use a benefits calculator to check your entitlement:
