Lcwra Health Assessment Lied that I Missed their call
Hi, has anyone waited for a health assessment call and then they, call late, say there is a delay and will call back later. But after 5 hours of anxious waiting, noone does. This happened to me. It aggravated my mental health. What makes it worse is when I rang them in the morning they said I missed their call. They lied. I'm so upset with the way I was treated. Has this happened to anyone else.
Also I was on U.C since last January and was posting fit notes every month and it's only since November that I was sent the UC50 form. Is that normal?

Hello @saz786. You should normally be referred for a Work Capability Assessment (which is the process that triggers you being sent a UC50) after 30 days of continuos fit notes. Were there gaps between your fit notes at all or were you receiving any earnings from work or a former employer?

No I am not working due to being disabled. I received pip and Ihave been sending fit notes regularly

Thanks for confirming @saz786, I asked because they could both be reasons why the UC50 was delayed. Have you thought about sending a complaint to the assessment providers? Have they scheduled a new assessment with you?

Thank you for the guidance. I haven't complained yet because I was struggling with the mental distress of what happened. I was told to contact the DWP but couldn't cope with the thought of it. But, hopefully I will contact them after Christmas. I just hope this doesn't happen to anyone else and I was just the exception not the norm.

I received a reply to my complaint. U.C say they are going to contact WCA with my complaint. God knows how long that's going to take. The whole process is so gruelling
