I received a text message at 8.01 New Years Day stating my PIP review has started and I will receive a form within 2 weeks. Happy New Year to me ðŸ˜ģI receive the lower rate daily living. Does anyone know how the reviews go? Do I have to send all evidence in again and have a interview with them? I am dreading it.

Thanks in advance

Adele

Sorry, I have no idea how a PIP review is processed. Just wanted to wish you good luck and a Happy New Year!

Not the best timing but unfortunately we all have to go through these reviews. You need to make sure you treat it as a new claim and provide as much relevant information as possible.

Even if there's been no changes please do not just write no change, without adding further information.

You should also include a couple of real world examples of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Include detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.

Yes, another assessment is most likely because most have them and they are mostly by telephone. Although reviews are currently taking a considerable length of time and many people are waiting about a year for a decision. Your current award will continue while you wait for that decision.

I had a text 3 yrs ago on boxing day saying about a review. I suffer amongst other things dissocial personality disorder and ulcerative colitis. I sent a letter from doctor explaining conditions and asking for telephone review rather then face to face as I don't get on many people especially men and get agitated easily . Was abused as a child and can kick of easy. When I rang up explained this I was told would have to have face to face and if I kicked of would be arrested and they wouldn't have pay my benefit also have soil myself infront of assessor proof bowel issues . I taped the call. Don't wanna frighten anyone but they make their own rules up in the end I got local mp involved and was resolved straight away

I have my PIP review form. Do I have to inform them them that I now have a part time job? There is nowhere on the form that asks?

    Thanks in advance

No, you do not have to tell them this when filling out the form. People do work while claiming PIP. If you do have an assessment for your review and they ask if you're working (they may ask) then you'll need to be honest and tell them you do work.

Providing the work you do doesn't contradict the reasons why you're claiming PIP there shouldn't be issues.
