Hello ๐
Hi everyone, I have attended some scope online events previously and Iโm active in other online communities so I thought I would take the time to introduce myself here. My name is Kirsty . I am 38 and have spastic deplegic Cererbral Palsy. My hobbies include reading and eating food ๐. I love music too. I have worked as a qualified social worker for over 16 years. I love it but it is very stressful and Iโm hoping to be able to reduce my hours this year so that I can take a bit more time and have a bit more work life balance.
I struggle a lot with fatigue and frustration that I want to do more in a day than my body will let me do.
looking forward to meeting people and making connections here.

Hello @KirstyParkinson,
Welcome to the community! Itโs great to have you here. ๐ Your introduction is lovely, and it sounds like youโve accomplished so much โ 16 years as a social worker is impressive, from my understanding it's such an important but very demanding role. I hope youโre able to find some balance this year and give yourself the time you need to recharge.
I'm a bit of a foodie myself, what are some of your favourite meals?
Looking forward to seeing you around on the community, any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
