What is classed as a Disability

Hi,
I've joined to get some help and advice.
I've recently had a major heart attack and stents fitted. I have now been diagnosed with Ischemic Heart Disease. Is this classed as a disability?
My employer terminated my contract on ill health grounds, so I'm now on New Style ESA, but struggling financially. Are there any other benefits I could claim for?
I was also diagnosed with a Hiatus Hernia twenty years ago. Unfortunately, the blood thinning medications (I now have to take for life), have caused the Hernia to flare up, and I am in constant stomach pain, and have difficulty eating (it's now getting to the point where I avoid eating to get a bit of relief from the pain).
I'm really struggling with this new way of life, and don't seem to be getting any help.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Any help and advice appreciated.
Thank you.

There is a simple definition of disability here:
A benefits calculator might be of use:
Universal Credit would be the main benefit, NS ESA would be deducted in full (£598.86) from any entitlement. There are other things like help with council tax that you could look into.
If you prefer you could seek out local help to assist with benefits and other advice.
Have you spoken to your GP about current health difficulties? If it's gotten so bad you are avoiding food you definitely need help asap.
