Just awarded LCWRA but when will this be reviewed in the future
Hi
I’ve just been awarded LCWRA and in the letter it does not mention reviews. Yet in the journal entry accompanying it it says about reviews in the future? Is this a standard journal wording or is there a timeline for these reviews? Just stressed as the assessment was stressful enough let alone for me to be worrying about another date hanging over me. Below is part of the journal paragraph, any advice would be great,Thanks.
“You have been found to have Limited Capability for Work and Work Related Activities and we have been asked to review your circumstances again in the future.
You will be sent a letter advising you when any review starts. Please keep your account up to date by reporting any changes”
….etc etc

Decision letters never give a timescale because LCWRA is an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise.
You can ask them when your referral date is and they will tell you but it’s just a guide and doesn’t mean you will be referred on that date. In the future when you are referred you will receive a letter on your journal.

Hi Poppy thanks for coming back to me it’s much appreciated. It certainly was confusing as the letter mentioned nothing about future reviews but the journal entry did. From your experience how long do they normally diarise these dates for referral? Thanks
