PIP
Does a pip claim automatically close if you dont go ahead with the review/return the review forms? What happens? Thanks in advance

your case is closed but you can reapply at anytime

No, this isn't always the case. It totally depends on each individual case. If a person has a vulnerable marker on their file, their review can continue without the form being returned. This would mean their current award would continue until a decision is made on their review.
It's correct that extra time can also be given if you ring to request it.

@poppy123456 Oh right my apologies! I didn't know about that. Thank you for correcting me on that

you stop a claim and that claim stops , untill you restart it everytime

As I advised, this is not correct in some cases. I've seen it happen many times where someone hasn't returned forms and a decision has been made on a review without the actual form.
Same rules apply for the work capability assessment.

No problem and you're welcome.

don’t send yours forms and you will get a lot older before any reply or decicion arrives I’ve had pip for 12 years and my renewal too 2 years with all forms sent back within 7 days

Those with vulnerable markers on their file do not have the same rules for returning forms as those that don't have one. It is wrong that you keep saying their PIP will stop if the form isn't returned.

I was an assessor so we will go with your say hope you eventually get sorted without a form this is my last take I’m leaving this as it’s giving incorrect information
