Labour have committed only to the welfare cost savings (across all benefits) inherited from the previous Government.
They are expected to announce details in the Spring of their intentions of how they'd like to go about that. They have said it will be different from previous Government.
Even then, there will be a lengthy legal process to follow which takes a very very long time.
They were only able to cut Winter Fuel Payments so quickly, because they are a government perk, not enshrined in legislation as welfare benefits are.

will it be these next few months do you think as it’s making me I’ll because of it all

No absolutely not. They haven't even announced their intentions with regards to PIP. Then there has to be a consultation (and they've lost a court case recently over an insufficient consultation).
Then it has to go through the legal process involving both houses of Parliament.
It will all take a very long time.

ok how do you know this sorry and ive seen something about march 20 then I’m seeing all different things saying it’s been done in weeks then it’s being done Imment

I know this because I rely on official sources for information and knowledge of how welfare benefits work under the law.
Not click bait, ill informed, inaccurate articles which are probably written by AI, then a journalist takes credit.

so do you think like peoples payments will be stopped like by these next few months and the rest of this year as that’s what I’m worried about and it’s making me so I’ll

As I've advised several times any changes to welfare would take a very long time.
I don't expect to see any changes this year no.
Government due to publish plans in Spring. Then a long consultation (they've just been told in court a 2 month consultation by the Tories was insufficient). Then the plans may be refined before they are ready to start the long legal process to make changes.

Hi @spenny1993 just wanted to say welcome to the community. You're not alone - a lot of people are feeling the same and some of the media really isn't helping. Please try not to spend too much time worrying (I know it's sometimes easier said than done). Try to allow yourself a distraction - make sure you spend some time away from the media doing something that makes you feel good. 💛

Pretty much the same as what @Kimmy87 has advised. We have to wait for the Government announcements. I can say that we at Scope do work behind the scenes to try to influence those powers. In early February (all being well), we are looking to introduce some opportunities for us all to campaign about the present situation. As soon as these become available, we'll be trying to get the word out as much as we can.
