What date did your last fit note end, you didn't answer that question. If you don't know you can check your journal. In your first comment you said December but now you're saying January.

A fit note will usually have a start and end date.

Just to clarify, the doctor just put in "December" for the fit note. My concern there is that without an exact date that could be interpreted as the whole of December or until December. That is usually why an exact day is required.

FItnote expired on the 12th January. On the 15th I had my final assessment. On the 22nd the decision was made.

First you said end of December and then you said there was no end date on it and now you're saying 12th January.

Either way, as the decision wasn't made until 22nd January then that's still a gap. It will be down to a decision maker to make their final decision on when the extra money is paid from.

Fitnote said sept to dec.. on my journal it's says 12 Jan Fitnote expired. There's no start date on Fitnote neither end date just the months and it said for 3months. I'm confused abit myself.. and ok no worries, would it be wise to message them on my journal to find out?

@FranCiscO123, if the fit note is from the 10th September and is for 3 months, it would usually mean it ends on the 10th December. I can see UC sent you a 'final reminder' about your fit note being expired on the 12th January. Did they send you any previous reminders? You should have received the first reminder from UC about 7 days before your fit note was due to expire.

ITs all confusing and lm trying not to message on my journal about it because I'm anxious I don't want them to start thinking anything I know I have a right to ask, my housing officer told me to write a note on my journal
