LCWRA
Hello I received this letter in my journal on the 22th Jan, had a phonecall assessment on the 15th Jan was meant to be on the 9th December but they rescheduled.. I first made it known to the jobcentre that I would like to apply back in September last year, on the 12th of September I handed in my fitnote which was for 3months starting on the 10th September to December. My next UC payment is on the 8th February, will I receive my first payment for LCWRA on that date or at a different date? Sorry I am new to it.

Edit, sorry I can see you've already provided that information.
And which date did you report the health condition?

Hello thanks for your response, I'm confused with the "assessment period" it all started in the month of September last year I handed in my fitnote and the form was filled in and sent in. I reported it in September

Sorry I can see you provided the payment date in your OP.
What date did you report the health condition? I need to know that in order to advise correctly.

I hope this is what you meant 🙈. The 8th of each month, the next is on the 8th of February

LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.
September/October: Partial AP, excluded from waiting period.
October/November: AP 1
November/December: AP 2
December/January: AP 3
January/February: Eligible for LCWRA element.
February 8th: First LCWRA element paid*
If there isn't time for DWP to process the decision and add LCWRA to your next statement, they will owe you one month.
Money owed is calculated and paid separately. You'll know this has been done as a letter will be added to your Journal with confirmation of the amount. The payment will then arrive several days later.
*If you have Transitional Protection on the claim, it will reduce by the LCWRA amount.
*If you have Carers Element in your name on the claim, LCWRA will replace this as the same person cannot get both.
*If you have a partner on your claim who gets LCWRA, no money will be paid as within a couple the maximum number of LCWRA elements is 1.

This sounds like good news. If I was in that position I'd write something in my journal and I would ring them up too and ask them what does it mean?.. sorry if I replied late
