Copy of pip letter

I've lost my pip award letter and have requested a copy twice as they haven't turned up ive rang them again and they said they send another one. What I'm worried about is I'm getting a motability car in March and would need a pip letter to send to them. Any ideas on how to sort this

Why do you need a PIP letter for your mobility vehicle? When I ordered mine in November last year I didn't need my PIP award because the dealership checks the award when they place the order for the car. When you collect the vehicle you do not need the award letter, you just need the PIN number which motability will send to you through a letter.

That's what the dealership requested for the tax, it's my second motability car

Very strange, you don't need that for the tax either. I'm on my 4th motability car and never needed my PIP award letter for the tax. All I needed to do this time was sign a form they sent me by email.

I’ve also been trying to get a new award letter as I lost my bus pass but so far I still don’t have a copy and this is now been 2&1/2months x
