HI I'm awaiting appeal hearing date, after having MR about mobility which was on enhanced had review assor who wrote report which I got copy of had so many inconsistencies and all of my true statements were ignored.
I have massive mobility issues and to go to enhanced to nil is absurd,
Yesterday had tex to say pip wanted to speak to me about my appeal, gentleman rang up at appointment time asked few questions he asked if I wanted to add anything to case notes I just said that a hospital appointment has now been changed to telephone appointments due to pain level and having to travel in hospital transport to appointment which is a 2 and half hour journey both there and back and I'm unable to travel that far alone and said he would send report to tribunal, and copy to me ,I've read online that a decision could made before tribunal??? .
I have also said I'm unable to attend due to agoraphobia and severe anxiety can anyone give me info please TIA

When DWP respond to the Tribunal they look at your whole claim again. During this time they sometimes offer an award or a higher award than you already have. If the person you spoke to has told you that they are sending everything to the Tribunal then that means they are likely not going to offer an award at this time. They can still do that before the hearing takes place but there's less chance.
Are you also aware that you can request a telephone hearing, rather than appear in person? Paper based hearings have an extremely low success rate at only about 5-8%. Telephone, video or appearing in person gives a much higher chance off success at about 66%. For this reason I'd advise you to change it to telephone if possible.
