Transitional Protection

hi there
I have been on JSA, child tax credit & Housing benefit. I received a manage migration notice back in October time & was advised by my work coach to go down the health route as I have ADHD, BPD & OCD. I am in receipt of PIP daily living component & got a top up of SDP on my JSA and now currently get transitional protection due to the change over. I have been so so anxious about my WCA which is next week & would like to know if I get found as being Fit for work (which my work coach doesn’t think I will but who knows), will I still get my transitional protection. Also, would this be the case if I got LCW or LCW with activity?
if I get found fit for work or LCW I will probably appeal this. How would I go about this and would my UC Payments stop/decrease if I appeal? Thank in advance

If you are found fit for work that shouldn't affect your Transitional Protection, as there would be no financial change of circumstances.
This should also apply to LCW as no extra money is paid.
If you are found to have LCWRA, then your Transitional Protection would reduce by the LCWRA amount which is £416.19.
You can read about appeals here:
There should be no financial impact to your UC if you appeal.
