Benefits

Hi all.
Quick question..
I’m just wondering if me applying to claim pip is pointless as I’m currently receiving universal credit and LCWRA. Will this be taken off of me if I am also awarded pip? I read something online about it effecting the housing benefit?
For reference.. I’m 32, I’m single and I live in a housing association property (2 bed house) with a 3 year old.
btw.. I’m new to Scope everyone seems so lovely so far☺️ thankyou ✨

PIP won't be taken off your UC so it's well worth applying.
I'd highly recommend getting help with the forms.
It can in certain cases increase Housing Benefit, however none of those rules apply to you.
Daily Living PIP stops non dependant deductions from HB, or can pay for an extra bedroom but you must have a spare bedroom and need regular & frequent overnight care.
