Webinar - Play and playfulness in children with cerebral palsy
Wednesday 2 April, 10.30-12.30 pm
In this session, we will explore ways to support play and engagement in children who:
- require significant physical assistance to move and engage in activities, and/or
- who are not able to use speech to easily communicate
The session will include a mixture of theory, case examples and practical ideas and will cover:
- Play versus playfulness
- Types of play
- Advice on adapting play activities for children with complex physical needs
- Additional practical tips and ideas to consider
Time permitting, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
This webinar is suitable for Families and carers, newly qualified therapists, clinicians who are new to the area and education and support staff.
