If they stop contracting private providers to reassess claimants, the funnelling upwards of wealth would be interrupted! Won't anyone think of the billionaires? 😉

@Summerlove I agree. They're all too busy at the Trough.

I often think of the billionaires. I have many plans for them 😉

hi would pip be cut this year and how long would it take to cut it
0 -
Nothing is currently happening to PIP.
The Government haven't yet released their Green Paper with their proposed changes. This is due next month.
Any changes will take a long time to become law, years plural, and what eventually does become law will probably differ from the proposals.

do u think it will all happen like the next few months or this year
0 -
Any changes will take years to become law.

what about if they fast track it and what’s this thing in march
0 -
They can't fast track the legal process.
They were able to change the Winter fuel payment criteria so quickly because it was a government perk, not protected by legislation.
Ignore hyped up, factually incorrect media stories about crack downs, fast track changes etc.
In March Labour will release a Green paper.
Green Paper: These are our plans, what do you think.
Consultation and feedback.
Then they release a White Paper.
White Paper: These are our proposals
Then the long legal process, going through both houses of parliament, delayed by any court challenges, amendments proposed by the House of Lords.
Then they finally become law.
The whole process takes years, and what eventually becomes law is usually a watered down version of the Green paper.

There is nothing to report. The green paper hasn't been read in the HofC yet.

Avoid any article from the "reach" group it'll tell you it's a reach group when asking about cookies.
The trash they come out with should be under "fiction"

Labour haven't yet released the Green Paper with their proposals.
That article is about a third party group who have launched a survey with a proposal to change PIP.
The Commission for Social Security has no more influence than Scope does, or any other group with an opinion on welfare benefits.
It's not official Government policy, and once again nothing is yet changing.

What you have read is scaremongering and speculation.
0 -
HI
WHAT DO YOU MEAN SCAREMONGERING?
0 -
False articles which (intentionally or unintentionally) cause alarm, distress etc.
1 -
@ased444 it’s really hard when you’re worried about your future and are desperate to know what’s happening, many of us feel the same and I’m sorry you feel the stress too. Xx You’ve done nothing wrong by sharing those views x

Just logged into my computer and straightaway saw 2 more clickbaits saying that LCWRA and PIP are being replaced or scrapped !!
I'll be glad when they finally make their minds up and tell us what they're actually going to do rather then having all the rumours that are flying around now.
