My pip award

I was awarded pip for 5 years from October last year ,under the new dwp proposals is my current award still valid untill my re assessment date i was given in my award letter or will I now have to be re assessed before my current award has ended under the new proposals

Hi,
Yes, your award will continue as usual.
Just for reference, PIP can still be reassessed at any time though. Most people get review forms before the end date on the letter.

Hi thank you for reply yes I understand that usualy a year before they send for you ,but my worry was that under these new proposals the goverment can take my 5 years award away
