I was forced to retire as a retail manager aged 38, I had to see 3 different doctors before the company allowed me to receive a pension from them, I was told by two of the doctors that it was doubtful if I would ever return to work.

I am now 62 and haven't worked since,I have now had 8 spinal surgeries, some of them very invasive, I now have a spinal cord stimulator fitted, however, I still suffer with constant back pain and sciatica, loosing my livelihood at 38 years old also had a major impact on my mental health, and I have considered suicide on a number of occasions,.

I am so worried that I will loose my PIP, my review is in April, I receive the higher rate for mobility and middle rate for independence , I rely on my PIP to pay for a mobility vehicle, and the remaining money pays for extra gas and electricity, this is because I spend most of my time in the house and have to have heating on as cold temperatures make my condition worse, I don't know how I would survive if I lost this valuable source of income.
